Hess Print Solutions Names David Hunnius Senior Vice President

Brimfield, OH, July 27, 2012 - Hess Print Solutions, a provider of printed products, related services and technologies that help clients grow revenue and profits announced today that it has appointed David Hunnis to the role of Senior Vice President of Sales. 

Douglas L. Mann, President and CEO, said, "he possesses extensive experience managing premedia, commercial printing and direct mail sales forces representing up to $310 million in revenue comprised of 12 regional sales managers and 385 personnel in a previous leadership role. 

With tremendous experience in turn around and in optimizing high potential printing companies like Hess, David knows how to build successful sales teams and reengineer sales forces. His management and sales techniques transform selling organizations into top performing teams through intense focus on selling new business and existing accounts, including small, Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies.  He has created and implemented successful sales management processes in each of his leadership roles which includes forecasting, prospecting, pipeline management, account planning, account strategy, implementation and reporting.  David has a reputation for being very active in the field – helping his teams grow existing accounts, acquire new accounts and believes in investing the necessary resources for talent acquisition and sales training.  

David’s sales teams are known industry-wide for achieving financial goals, delivering on commitments and experiencing outstanding revenue growth.  In 2011, he led a direct mail business unit with $13.9 million in new business signings and year over year growth of nearly $2 million.  In 2010, Dave’s team was successful in reinvigorating the pipeline of the business from $12 million to $35 million and he  was personally involved in helping convert the two largest packaging premedia accounts signed in this business unit in 6 years totaling $7 million.

His most recent role was Vice President of Sales where he had a P&L responsibility of $60 million in direct mail revenue.  Prior to that he was Senior Vice President of Integrated Media and was responsible for $100 million in revenue.

He is Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt trained and certified and has completed his Green Belt Training."
