Job Functions

• Set up, operation, repair and maintenance of Saddle Stitcher and ink jet system
• Review and interpret job ticket instruction, order material, complete production run, document finished run quantities
• Set up, run and maintain the operation of the FASTECH Ink-jet controller; includes downloading data from network through the production run
• Training of assistant operator and crew members and coordination of their work
• Maintain quality and productivity standards
• Adheres to and assures safety practices are followed
• May handle hazardous waste as part of daily job functions
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 2 years Bindery, 1 year Mail and 6 months operator experience
• Full operational knowledge of the Saddle Stitcher
• Knowledge of customer packing specifications
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office Utilities
• Knowledge of ink jet and mailing requirements
• Must possess above average mechanical skills
• Must have good math skills and penmanship
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Test will be given to qualified candidates
